【Event Report】 What Is Elementary School Like?: March 1

On Sunday, March 1, the event titled “What Is Elementary School Like?”, was held.

The event was for parents with international backgrounds whose children will soon be entering elementary school.

On the day of the event, seven families from five different countries participated. The children ranged in age from 0 years old to those scheduled to start elementary school in April!

A volunteer from the Japanese language class with teaching experience spoke about daily life and learning in elementary school. Participants were also shown the contents of a real first-grade student’s randoseru (school backpack). It was a very valuable opportunity to actually see and handle the tools used in elementary school.

The participating parents listened attentively to the experiences shared by senior moms. They learned that the most important thing is to “ask the teacher right away if you don’t understand something.”

Of course, you can also consult the Lounge staff anytime! There are many experienced moms here 😊
