Summer Homework class

A joint project by the student group Youth International Nandemo kyoshitsu and Kohoku Lounge.
We support children with international backgrounds in their studies and homeworks.

From August 8 to 10, children worked hard on their summer homework together with university and high school volunteers. Besides drills and school worksheets, even practicing the recorder was welcome! During breaks, kids enjoyed games like Othello and Karuta, happily bonding with their “big brothers and sisters.” 😊

On the final day, after study time, we held a fun Bingo Party. The Hiragana Bingo game was a huge hit! ✨

It was not only meaningful for the children, but also a valuable experience full of discoveries for the student volunteers.

We look forward to seeing you at the Winter Holiday Homework class next time!
(We also hold a monthly Sunday Class — please feel free to join us!)
