An appreciation ceremony was held at the Wakuwaku Festival on Sunday, October 27, 2024, to honor the volunteers. This recognition was for those who have contributed to the Lounge Project for 10 or 20 years, as well as those who have warmly supported the internationalization of the community and provided hospitality to foreigners.
During the ceremony, heartfelt speeches were shared, and the event was filled with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Later, the Mayor of Kohoku Ward, Mr. Yukinori Takeshita, visited the venue and expressed his gratitude to the volunteers.
Kohoku Lounge is supported by the dedication of its volunteers. We look forward to continuing our work together in the future.
