On May 29th (Sun),「つながり」- an event for Ukrainians has been held for the first time at our Kohoku Lounge. Many Ukrainians living in Japan have come and joined our event. The number of participants was far more than we expected.
During the event, the participants had a chance to gather, meet and talk with other Ukrainians, most of them talked in their mother language. At the 「おゆずり会」 – a part of the event, we have prepared some items and asked the participants to select and bring back home some items that are necessary for their lives in Japan, such as spring and summer clothes, picture books and tableware.
